Dr. Meelu is board certified oncologist and hematologist serving Southern Maryland for the last 30 years with office in Waldorf, Maryland.
He got his medical degree from prestigious university the Punjab, Pakistan. Before coming into the United States, he served for four years as a missionary doctor in West Africa.
He did his residency training at Mount Sinai School of Medicine affiliated Elmhurst Hospital, Queens New York.
He did his fellowship training in oncology/hematology at Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola Long Island, New York.
For many years, he was chief of oncology/hematology and chairman cancer program at Southern Maryland Hospital, Clinton Maryland, as well as at Charles Region Medical Center in Laplata Maryland.
